Nagishiro Mito is a Japanese digital doujin artist and illustrator born on September 6. He is the only artist under the doujin circle "white parabellum". Nagishiro is known for being the illustrator for the Virtual Youtuber Shirakami Fubuki[1] and Kawakaze[2] from Azur Lane. He has also been a guest lecturer for Shizuoka Prefecture's Renaissance Design Academy.[3] Nagishiro has been working since 2013.
Overview
[edit | edit source]Nagishiro Mito is particularly noted for his love for white hair and kemonomimis - a Japanese trend where characters are given animal-like traits such as ears and tails. His artwork mainly consists of original artworks that frequently feature animal-girls wielding various weapons. His artworks also often are accompanied by detailed drawn landscape backgrounds. While original designs do make up the majority of Nagishiro's artwork, he is also known to draw fanart of various series, such as Azur Lane and Fate series. Nagishiro also frequently livestreams various personal activities on Niconico including live drawings and gameplay.
Comiket

He is a popular artist, with his booth often being crowded from the beginning of the event until they sell out. white parabellum's booth consists of Nagishiro's art anthologies as well as various merchandise featuring original art, such as tapestries and keychains.

[edit | edit source]Nagishiro Mito is the character designer for Kawakaze from the game Azur Lane. He has been featured to do a live drawing of new art for Kawakaze at official Azur Lane events. His artwork has also been featured on official Azur Lane merchandise.
