Medicine need not have a father. The task of healing is no foreign concept to the body, but understanding and aiding the body has developed alongside the science of biology. Contributions to the art of medicine, as opposed to the science, were made by many old philosophers. Maybe he was ahead of his time, but nowhere near a 'father' figure of this practice. 146.9.159.167 03:10, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
