Calculus/Vectors

From Wikiversity

A vector is an object that contains both magnitude and direction. A good example of a vector would be velocity. Velocity represents somethings direction and speed. A vector is essentially a representation of motion in a direction. Another way to describe a vector would be as a force. Forces have both magnitude and direction. A scalar only has magnitude.
