Introduction[edit]

Game design templates give you a basis from which to build your own materials for the creation and testing of your games.

Game Critique Templates[edit]

Critique sheets are given to play testers to fill out in order to provide you with feedback after they've played a game. The following template is a general one, for more useful feedback, be specific about what you want critique on. Note that you may want to ask for anonymous feedback and not require a name or contact details.

Please rate from 1 to 5, with 1 being low/seldom and 5 being high/often.

How often did you need to refer to the rule book? [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ]

How often was their confusion about the rules between players? [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ]

It's a good idea to record the version number of the game played. Don't ask the player to do this.
