ALISON is a FREE learning resource of interactive certification-based learning.

ALISON is a free web-based education and interactive courseware training provider. ALISON stands for Advance Learning Interactive System Online. Founded in April 2007, ALISON reached its 250,000th learner membership in December 2008.

Goals[edit | edit source]

In keeping with Article 26 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights "Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free...[1]", ALISON's mission is to enable anyone, anywhere, to educate themselves for FREE via e-learning. Through the ALISON platform, people around the world can up-skill, thereby creating a more equitable and sustainable global society.

ALISON ABC IT is a self-certifiable course which comprehensively introduces the beginner and near-beginner to IT literacy. ABC IT introduces the learner to the very basic concepts of computing and teaches how computing can be an everyday feature of life and work.
