ALISON is a free web-based education and interactive courseware training provider. ALISON stands for Advance Learning Interactive System Online. Founded in April 2007, ALISON reached its 250,000th learner membership in December 2008.
Goals[edit | edit source]
In keeping with Article 26 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights "Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free...", ALISON's mission is to enable anyone, anywhere, to educate themselves for FREE via e-learning. Through the ALISON platform, people around the world can up-skill, thereby creating a more equitable and sustainable global society.

ALISON ABC IT is a self-certifiable course which comprehensively introduces the beginner and near-beginner to IT literacy. ABC IT introduces the learner to the very basic concepts of computing and teaches how computing can be an everyday feature of life and work.
