Idea [edit]
A vortex always forms when something passes through a liquid or gas. There are three vortices concepts associated with flight:
- The "starting vortex" that leaves the wing.
- The "bound vortex" that sticks to the top of the wing.
- One that comes off the wingwikipedia:Wingtip_vortices tips.
The goal is to show these using a fog machine and small hand thrown airplanes and/or wind tunnel.
