The Alamo

The Alamo is a historical site located in San Antonio, Texas. The Alamo was the scene of a battle fought between Mexico and Texas. The Alamo was the "home" to approximately 180 soldiers, including Davy Crocket (who died while fighting in the Alamo). To this day, this site honors the soldiers who fought for Texas to become a part of the USA rather than Mexico.
