Fringe Science vs. Fringe Sciences[edit source]

@Jaxter184: Fringe science refers to Wikipedia:Fringe science and is singular rather than plural. While the popular understanding of the term is somewhat pejorative, there is a Wikiversity user who has decided that a play on the term would be appropriate for their learning project and created Draft:Fringe sciences. You can read the discussion there for more background, but suffice it to say that Wikipedia does not recognize the term Fringe Sciences (plural). Fringe sciences should not be applied to anything except that user's resources which are studying "fringes". -- Dave Braunschweig (discuss • contribs) 20:41, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
