Event Template vs. Cal Template

The {{Event}} template was originally designed to be a Resource Type project box with a calendar image. In February 2009 that usage was replaced with the Wikipedia version of {{Event}}, not related in any way to project boxes.

For a Resource Type project box for events, see {{Cal}} (short for Calendar) instead. Existing direct references to {{Event}} which were clearly from the original resource type usage, based on both article date and lack of parameters, have been replaced with {{Cal}}.
