Usage

Use this template (optionally with subst:) to create a front page for your module.

Pages using this template including coloured themes include the modules under "General" in the SSE Curriculum.

 • Start by creating a link to your new module by typing
<name of your new module>

In the above, remember to substitute '<name of your new module>' with the actual name of your new module.

 • Save the page, and
 • Click on the new link (an empty edit box should open for you to create the page).
 • Paste the following into the edit box:

and edit it as you require. Example:

 • Save the page and your front page is ready to use.

The main content of each box on the screen is editable by clicking on 'edit' or the red hyperlink in the box (if there is no content yet). The title of each box may be changed by editing the new page (i.e. the template above that you pasted).

The new page will provide a link to a navigator for your module called '<full page name of your module>_Nav'.

The link should be red. If not, it has been created already and you might need to check that you are not editing someone else's work.

Click on the link and paste the following into the edit page that opens (if the link was red, the edit page will be empty):

and edit it to match your requirements. For example:

For information on themes and images see Template:Box themes combo and Template:Theme box image. But note that the scheme for working with themes might change soon.

Save the (navigator) page, and go back to your course page. The navigator should be ready to use (reload the page if necessary).

Paste a variation of the following into your new page:
