This is a very interesting and useful review. I only suggest to include more information on 1) potential mechanisms of the virus to switching hosts, especially to raptors; 2) different effects on feathers, not only loss; 3) impact on invasive parrot species (citing a recent review: Diversity 2020, 12(5), 192; https://doi.org/10.3390/d12050192).

Ref 33?

Hello! I was looking at reference 33, "Half million dollar rescue package for orange-bellied parrot". The current link appears to be dead but I found an article with the same name on Greg Hunt's site. It doesn't, however, seem to support the statement that "In June 2015, a ministerial review concluded that the goals of the TAP had not been met due to considerable deficits in knowledge concerning PBFD". Is there another source that can better support this? —Collin (Bobamnertiopsis)t c 17:56, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Maybe this one, which it looks like you cited in an earlier paper? Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease and other identified Threats to Australian threatened Parrots (PDF) (Report). Department of Environment. 2015. Archived from the original (PDF) on August 28, 2020.Collin (Bobamnertiopsis)t c 20:43, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'll drop the author an email regarding this. --Florian (Elmidae) (talk · contribs) 02:54, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
