Decision Matrix[edit source]

While it isn't part of the California State Standards, creating a decision matrix in the curriculum could be very useful, and also teach absolute/mixed references in a spreadsheet at the same time. -Jacob Walker

Nutrition Value[edit source]

Another thing to add some place in the curriculum would be to determine what the nutritional value of each menu item would be, this would show how math is also relevant to health topics, and help health awareness --Jacob Walker 18:07, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delivery[edit source]

I had a thought this morning that a delivery piece should be added to this project, and look at it both from the owners perspective and the employees perspective, as the students can possibly relate easier to an employee perspective (they might be pizza delivery drivers, or know one that is around their age.) This would be able to bring in two major areas: Delivery Times (Statistics, such as deviation), and Gas Mileage. --Jacob Walker 15:35, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exponents[edit source]

While x^2 and x^3 can be used to demonstrate area and volume, the example of possibilities of a password for security may be able to be explained later in the project when the "business" goes online. - Jacob
