% this is the default PlanetMath preamble. as your knowledge % of TeX increases, you will probably want to edit this, but % it should be fine as is for beginners.

% almost certainly you want these \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{amsfonts}

% used for TeXing text within eps files \usepackage{psfrag} % need this for including graphics (\includegraphics) %\usepackage{graphicx} %\usepackage{pstricks,pst-all} %\usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx} \usepackage[dvips]{graphicx} % for neatly defining theorems and propositions %\usepackage{amsthm} % making logically defined graphics %\usepackage{xypic} %\usepackage{import}

% there are many more packages, add them here as you need them

% define commands here %\import{./}{inkscapeTest2.pdf_tex}

\begin{document}

Test image using Inkscape

\begin{figure}[h] \centering \includegraphics{inkscapeTest}

\centerline{Figure 1: Latex and eps images} \label{Figure1} \end{figure}

Save Inkscape drawing to eps with option export area is drawing, then include the package pdftex graphicx and psfrag (see preamble)

Even better, the newest version 0.48 has option to save as \htmladdnormallink{pdf}{http://planetphysics.us/encyclopedia/LebesgueMeasure.html} and then choose option to use Latex. (not working on PP yet)
