WikiSound and beyond[edit source]

I'm wondering if we can't revive the old m:Wikisound discussion in this new context, now that we have a platform for originality. CQ 00:32, 4 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Audacity[edit source]

Audacity looks like an excellent resource! What a neat site! CQ 00:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

huge scope[edit source]

This actually seems like a huge subject. There are so many aspects and ways and environments in which one can make music on computer.

  • Sequencers (reason, cubase, logic, nuendo, Rosegarden, MusE, GarageBand...)
  • DAWs (ardour, protools...)
  • Trackers (renoise,buzz...)
  • graphical patcher languages(Pure Data, Max/MSP...)
  • programming languages (SuperCollider, ChucK, Csound...)

The questions is, what level to take and what to omit from this vast pool of knowledge... Also, I'd personally go towards free solutions - LinuxAudio is now very very functional and usable, even on Pro level. Novadeviator 10:00, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
