It is mentioned that there was a major climate change that must have occurred. Which I believe is correct, however my question is what caused the climate change. It is fact that there was a meteoroid that hit earth, this is proven by core samples. The core samples that were examined had liquid iridium in them. However this is not possible on earth because the iridium would have evaporated. The reason it didn't evaporate is because it was surrounded by the meteoroid. Going back, the climate change occurred because of the post damaged done by the meteoroid. Smoked formed due to the meteoroid in our atmosphere blocking out the sun causing a significant climate change.Asmit (talk) 01:53, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
