Pre-existing materials[edit | edit source]
To determine if pre-existing materials will work for your needs, you must look at your learning objectives. With these objectives in mind, evaluate the materials based upon these factors:
- adequate motivation
- appropriate content
- correct sequencing
- all required information is present
- contains practice exercises
- feedback mechanism included
- tests are available
- directions are included
- learner guidance when moving from sequence to the next
If the materials lack one or more items, adapt to meet those needs if possible.
