Methods[edit | edit source]

Over 39,000 children's teeth were examined between the ages of 5 to 17. Sampling was done fairly by testing children from different regions of the US, cities and rural areas, public and private schools.

The children's parents were asked whether or not fluoride drops were administered. Public records were checked to see if fluoride was added to the public drinking water. [1].
