Global Warming is Affecting the Polar Bears[edit | edit source]
Polar Bears are under a lot of stress due to the prolonged ice-free period which lasts four months. This in turn increases nutritional stress on the polar bear populations. This affects Polar Bears in numerous ways, examples are: declining body conditions, lowered reproductive rates, reduced survival of cubs, cause of collapse when it comes to polar bear maternity dens, which causes the deaths of the occupants[1].
