1) A common theme in Japanese movies and dramas is the value of perseverence. How does the movie, Waterboys, demonstrate this value?
2) By having boys participate in synchronized swimming, this movie tackles the issues of social expectations and gender stereotypes. What do you think that this movie is trying to say about these issues?
