Book chapter[edit | edit source]

I am developing an educational book chapter on psilocybin assisted psychotherapy for motivation and emotion. In this book chapter I will explore how psilocybin and psychotherapy influence the brains neurobiology to create therapeutic change in anxiety and depression, PTSD and addiction. I will also explore how psilocybin assisted psychotherapy often has a profound personal and spiritual effect on participants in its clinical trials. I will explore why psilocybin assisted psychotherapy is needed while also examining both the side effects and the psychological and metaphysical risks of the treatment.
