Bio[edit source]

I was born in 1973 in Washington State, and studied piano, music composition, and creative writing at Fairhaven College in Bellingham. I earned an MFA in fiction writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. I perform frequently as a concertina soloist and with The Toy Boats, a quartet. More information is available at stevenarntson.info. I also write an assessment of my teaching every quarter here.

FAQ[edit source]

  • Q: "Where did my old group space go?" A: It went here.
  • Q: "How do I find my old userspace?" A: Look at the Student Hub Archives
  • Q: "Why is there a dotted blue box around what I wrote?" A: It means you have spaces at the beginning of a line. Delete them, and the blue box will disappear.

Throttle[edit source]

There is a feature with Wiki that prevents messages from being sent too fast so that such actions can be regulated. Normally, only "bots" or wikiscripts have that ability. Normally, the "rollback permission" would allow you to get around it, I think, but I don't have the ability to grant it. Ottava Rima (talk) 15:12, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

bot help?[edit source]

if you wish to post to a large number of students, you may ask a bot-operator for help. we have such people locally and on meta: as well. Regards, Hillgentleman | //\\ |Talk 15:36, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
