Hey it's me, Erin.
About me
[edit | edit source]My name is Erin. I am 23 and currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Canberra. I am loving my degree and hope to become a clinical psychologist. Since finishing school, I have worked with children in Education (both as a childcare educator and learning support assistant in schools). I also help teenagers with disabilities in a support worker role. The enjoyment I receive from my work has got me particularly interested in child psychology and developmental psychology.
Passions and interests
[edit | edit source]Acting
[edit | edit source]I have been an actor for 12 years. Acting has always been such a passion of mine. I started acting by participating in lots of local theatre, acting workshops and classes. I later moved to screen acting and travelled interstate and overseas to learn and work on my craft. While, I don't get to act ad much now I am at University, I still enjoy teaching acting classes to students, attending local theatre and helping out fellow actors and industry friends when I can.
Health and fitness
[edit | edit source]Health and Fitness is a huge part of my lifestyle. I started attending the gym about 2 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I enjoy weight training. I also love swimming and spend a lot of the time in summer at the pool, swimming laps. I enjoy playing a variety of team sports and am currently playing volleyball with my team. I also enjoy outside fitness and am planning on beginning to train for my first triathlon at the end of the year.
Travel
[edit | edit source]Travelling is one of my most favourite things to do. I enjoy exploring Australia, particularly coastal beaches. I have been fortunate to go overseas several times and some of my favourite places include, Hawaii, London, Barcelona and all different parts of Ireland (its too hard to pick one).
Goals for the Future
[edit | edit source]I have many goals for the future including completing my Bachelors degree and in the long-term, completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I hope to do lots of travelling with my family, boyfriend and friends.
