Hello! My name is Phatcharapan, also known as Mildly. Some people do call me Wild ... depends. I am a 2nd year college student and my major is Social Science.I am just like you, a complex human being. I smile, cry, whine, laugh, love and hope. At times I fear, and most of the time I try. I know you do the same things too. So we are not really that different.

Social Networking Question[edit | edit source]

1. What is the site you selected?
- Digg is the site I selected.
2. What is the site's purpose and why is it considered a web 2.0 site?
- The purpose of this site (Digg) is to change the way people consume information online by letting people share anything (news, videos, messages, etc.) from anywhere on the site. There is no editor for this site, the people who post things are actually us - the users. Once when we submit something on the site, other people will see it. And if they like what we post, they will Digg (or vote) it. The more Diggs we recieve from other users, the more chances of our post to be promoted in the front page of the site. People also can talk and discuss about any subjects they like through the application provided by the site. It is considered a web 2,0 site because Digg allows us to do more than getting the information. We are not limited to be only passive users, but active users that can create, post, share, update and interact with other users.

3. What is your favorite website and why?
My fav website is Digg, because I enjoy surfing around the stories people have posted, also there are some good stuffs on there that are voted by the users. - --Mildlywild

Cloud Computing Questions[edit | edit source]

1. How is cloud computing different than using a normal computer? The differences between the Cloud Computing and a normal computer is that, the cloud computing allows us to use applications and share files on the internet. Also, anyone can access to those files at anytime on any computers. A normal computer, in contrast, the files we make and save will be stored on that computer we use, and they can’t be accessed by people that use other computers.

2. How could you turn a classroom into a cloud computing classroom?

The first step for turning a classroom into a cloud computing classroom is that everyone must create their own accounts where we can upload and share files on the internet. The account will allow us to share and access other people’s works, such as friends’ document or teachers’ lectures, at anytime and from any computers. By having a cloud computing classroom, it will be convenient for students to share ideas and learn things from their classmates and teachers.
