Computers nowadays are evolving so rapidly the once the new ones are out it quickly replaces the old ones. As for me, I didn't work on a lot of graphics or games so i don't need to best specifications. As technological advances, PC specifications are getting better and here are PC best specifications. Again, this depends on what kind of task you work on. For me, i think that best PC on earth right now for gaming is Alienware Aurora a desktop computers introduced by Dell.

Best smartphones Operating system

In today’s world, technological advances have led an evolution to many industries especially in the mobile industry. A normal features phone which usually designed just to make phone calls and operates with only simple applications such as Java are being rapidly being replaced by Smartphone which offers more advanced computing ability and internet connectivity such as online in wifi, 3G, edge, GPS. Smartphone are run by operating system software such as Symbian used in Nokia E71, iOS used by Apple Inc, Palm WebOS, Blackberry OS, Samsung Linux, Windows Mobile on HTC Touch Dual, Android etc. The answer for which smartphone operating systems works best depends on features and what the user used for such as amount of e-mailed used, browsing web, entertainment usage such as music, video and games.

For me, I think that iphone with iOS works best among the Smartphone as it serves all my needs. Before I decided to buy an iphone, I have many choices between Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung, LG and HTC. However, I believed that iphone works best because of various reasons:

Firstly, it user interface of iOS introduced the usage of touch screen which other Smartphone such as Blackberry, Nokia lacks of. It only consisted of several buttons and with the touch screen it is easier to select task. And it also contains accelerometers which allows the screen to rotate from portrait to landscape mode. Secondly, iphone operating systems cover all computing needs such as serving web on safari, Youtube, weather forecast, google maps and GPS plus you can download more applications from Apple store such as MSN messenger, Skype, stock market, music, games and various applications on Apple store which are updated regularly. These applications were not offered by other Smartphone. In conclusion, I think iphone is the best smartphone because it serves as other computing systems allowing users to browse web, e-mail, do entertainment media plus you can customize your programs by downloading programs that interest you via Apple Store. It is easy to use and you can do everything with just one phone.

How is cloud comouting different than using a normal computer?

Cloud computing is different from using a normal computer because cloud computing is a new level of technology that is done through internet which uses servers to maintain data and informations and also uses as a centralize stroage and memory. For example, Yahoo or Gmail, google, Amazon, these websites don't need a software in order to use them, all it needs is internet connection and we could connet and sends e-mail anywhere around the world the information that has been done is saved in the internet and you can reconnect anywhere without having to save it in the computer, thus acting as an online storage device and memory. The information can also be shared and anyone can viewed it from websites like google, yahoo. This allows us to search and viewed varieties of information from around the world. It enhances learning and self study as information are easily acquire and with more varieties. It also serves as a communication systems such as MSN messengers, Skype, ebuddy, meebo where people get into the internet and communicate witheach other without having to be at the same place. Another example of cloud computing acting as a communication meduim is through websites like facebook, hi 5 in which people can communicate, share infromation, share interests through the use of the website. Therefore, it is different from a normal computer because it allows uses of internet, strage of information in which people can share, store information, communicate and interact effectively and conveniently through an internet.

How could you turn a classromm into a cloud computing classroom?

We could trun a normal classroom into a cloud computing classroom by set up a webpage for in this class we use wikiversity as a main page where everyone has thier own account and could log in to post and edit information. Once we have a webpage that everyone can acess through, a lecturer can post texts, and information regarding the subject into the webpage and everyone can read and self study. There can also be a group discussion where everyone can share thier thoughts and ideas regarding the context. Videos, photos and additional information could be added into the page. Students can hand in thier projects and homework into the page in which everyone can acess it for further information, they can also give ideas about the homework. Students can also do quizes and surveys here as well. Teachers can also grade homework and quizes and as well as gives idea on problems that students did wrong. This cloud computing classroom would allow a kind of self study environment with classroom interaction where everyone can acess data, give ideas hand in homework and everyone can learn without having to be at the same place, same time. --Eveve20 09:27, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Web 2.0 Social Networking

1.What is the site you selected?

My selected site was Digg site which is a social news webisites. It associate with allowing participants and members to vote stories and news up and down. When stories are up load daily, and people vote that stories, it will appear on the front page. There are many categories such as technology, business, science, games, lifeslyle and entertainment and sports.

2.What is the site's purpose and why is it considered a web 2.0 site?

The purpose of the site was to be a website that was a meduim for people to explore and she information on the web. It allows people to vote not only stories, but news, videos, images that were submitted by different authors and the popularity of the news was determined by people and what they like best. Oncne that story gets more and more votes, it will be on the front page for others to view. Furthermore, people are allow to discuss about the content. Digg also allows people to connect with Facebook--it allows users of Facebook and Digg to connect thier accounts, when the account are connected, Digg articles can be shared on the facebook page. Web 2.0 is web applications that allows users to interact, share information, discussion and collborate on the world wide web. Digg is considered a web 2.0 site because it is considered a social netowrking, video sharing sites in which everyone can associate, discuss and vote stories they like, thus Digg allows users to interact and contribute to the site.

3.What is your favorite website and why

I think that i like Digg the most becuase I don't play games, and cellufun associates with mobile social games so i don't really know about games. Also, in MOG, i don't really like listening to foriegn music, I don't download music, I only listen to radio. And for Meetup, I don't like arranging all these offline group meeting. Therefore, the only web 2.0 that suits me the best is probably Digg, because I like to read and update news and stories. Also in Digg, they also provides video along with the article, for example, I'm a basketball fans, and in Digg i get to read the article about LeBron's elbow injury and also get to see the real video of him shooting freethrow with his left arm. --Eveve20 11:00, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
