I like where I see this going. From what I gather, the intention of this project would be to allow people who maybe aren't used to using the internet a chance to experience the Wikimedia projects and other aspects of cyberspace that may be useful and novel in an inviting and welcoming way.

Also, I see elements of collecting "living histories" through video, audio, or text. This seems like it might be a way to invite people to participate. Let people share a message. Privacy may be a concern here.

Additionally, free internet, i.e. hotspots, seems to be something brought up in the article. People could use their laptops to connect via bluetooth or wifi. Something that personally interests me is to find out if there are novel methods that exist in order for people to connect to an open hotspot and securely, say, check their email... --Remi 04:23, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
