Menstrual Cycle refers to changes that occur in human females and some other mammals periodically. The period of this cycle is about 28 days in human females. It involves a complex series of hormonal changes followed by bleeding and discharge per vagina. Day one of menstrual cycle ( abbreviated as MC ) is first day of bleeding. Menstrual cycle is also known as period, menstrual bleeding and menses.
