Avaya Task Training/ERS-8600/Resetting Passwords

1. Console into the switch
2. Power down the switch
3. Power up the switch

You’ll need to interrupt the boot process by hitting the “Return” key. You should be greeted with a monitor prompt.

1. Press enter when you see “Press <Return> to stop auto-boot”.

From the monitor prompt enter the reset-passwd command to clear the passwords.

 monitor# reset-passwd <enter>
 monitor#

Enter the boot or reset command

 monitor#boot <enter>

Login with the default user and password.
user = rwa
pwd = rwa
