Mt Wedge and the Wedgemount Lake area is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous spots on earth. Accessible by a straightforward,if very long trail winding up over a km to the alpine, there is a hut overlooking the lake. The wedgemount glacier is rapidly receeding and used to touch the lake as recently as 1990. |
