Shook Remark: Written on the reverse of this unposted postcard is the following: "Papa's back is to north. He is looking toward Sunset." This postcard was purchased with a group of 83 postcards taken in and around Sunset and Pine City, both communities being located in Whitman County, Washington. It is believed that the boy with the fishing pole is Edwin LaRue. Only a few homes remain in the community of Sunset, Washington, which is located in the NW¼ of Section 26, Township 19 North, Range 42 East. Copyright 2017. Some rights reserved.
