an t i n g i; voor donkergroen (i dj o toewa): eerst een onderdompeling van het goed in indigo en daarnain curcumasap en azijn; voor lichtgroen (idjo nom): onderdompeling van het goed in een afkooksel van curcuma,d j a r a k en citroen. Of ook: eerst een onderdompeling in een slappe indigo-oplossing en daarnain een afkooksel van den bast van den mëmpëlam hitam (een soort mëmpëlam of Man-gifera) of van den laban-boom (den Vitex pubescens Vahl, zie hiervoren) met daoen dan-danggoela (bladeren van de Telanthera strigosa Moq, behoorende tot de Amarantaceae),curcuma en citroensap; voor bruinrood (abangkëtèl): eerst de doek olieën, d.w.z. met dj arak-olie en loog behande-len (nglojor, ngëtèl) en daarna dompelen in een afkooksel van mëngkoedoe en djirëk.In H. N. Kiliaans opstel: De Inlandsche kunstnijverheid in de afdeeling Patjitan (Tijdschriftvoor Nijverheid en Landbouw in Nederlandsch Indië, deel XLIV afl. 6, 1892) wordt voor hetgroenkleuren het navolgende recept opgegeven :48
