English: Bb Major - Reflections #1
Watercolor and oil on paper - 30x42cm Arnaud Quercy Creations / AQC0435 / 2023 "Bb Major - Reflections #1" represents an original attempt to explore color tones, translating musical intervals onto canvas. While the major third of Bb (D) is already vividly depicted in orange, uncertainties initially surrounded the colors of Bb and F. Early interpretations portrayed F in green and Bb in blue. However, further analysis and mapping to the cycle of fifths revealed that Bb resonates with purple and F with red-violet. This watercolor, though it may no longer fully meet my current standards, bears witness to my process and journey of discovery in synesthetic art. |
