English: Thomas E. Trask, and his wife Shirley Trask, show emotion after listening to a tribute of their over 40 years of service to the Assembly of God denomination, durning the General Council meeting at the Conseco Auditorium, in Indianapolis, Ind., on Wednesday August 8, 2007. Trask has been the General Superintendant, of the world wide denomination, and had recently submited his letter of resignation, and was about to give a final address to over 18,000 that had gathered. Ministers attending the meeting will be voting for his replacement on Thurday August 9, 2007. (PHOTO/Paul M. Walsh) |
