The responsible consumers course phase will invite the participants to act as responsible consumers.

The market does not generally act collectively intelligent but may have to respond to a lowest common denominator.

  • If the market may react like a child, how can you educate that child?
  • Discuss collective intelligence and market forces.
  • What are the responsibilities of the consumer towards the market?
  • What are the responsibilities of the consumer towards other consumers in the same market?
  • Discuss strategies to encourage or to discourage certain behaviors in certain markets (e.g. housing market).
