Founded in 1765 to help create native cities and also to help promote human development towards the common good. Also the Patriotic Society performed only charitable purposes such as providing for the disadvantaged groups. Some tasks that the Patriotic Society wanted to achieve through its humanitarian ideas:
- Advancement of Science
- Adult Education; Provide lectures, exhibition, concerts, and any other means
- Care for the people by welfare, youth development, and age care
- Scholarships and prizes for students
- Tolerance of cultures and other international ideas
