Are you travelling to Romania? Or do you wish to learn a Romance language? Here is a brief introduction to Romanian as a language:

Romanian has many linguistic features in common with Italian, French and Spanish. Even though mutual intelligibility in terms of vocabulary is limited for the first two, the Latin origins offer a grammatical common ground for Romanian in respect to other Romance languages.
