This concludes the lesson on procedural analysis for the development of instructional materials. Procedural analysis is used to identify and analyze tasks in structured procedures for training or education. In structured procedures, the steps don’t vary across situations. A thorough analysis helps prevent content gaps in your instruction. It also helps generate a clear focus for the target learner group and appropriate instructional strategies, as per the learning objectives.
