Summary
| Description |
English: Maximum eclipse. Taken from about 100km north of Tokyo, in in Takanezawa, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
We would have had to be further south to see the Moon central on the Sun, but it was forecast cloudy in Tokyo so was too risky to stay on the chance it would be clear. It turns out it did clear up a bit, leaving patchy cloud, but I think we did the right thing to get clear skies. Taken with Takahashi FSQ85 with Televue 2" Powermate x4 and Canon 5D mk II. |
