What are LiquidThreads?

LiquidThreads are talk page templates that allow conversations to continue across contexts. The idea is to maintain continuity for Wikiversity:Schools, Divisions from course and lesson Wikiversity:content development groups, while providing a link to the community-wide centralized discussion area (Colloquium).

how to use?

There. I added some documentation. There hasn't been much discussion about implementation of liquidThreads yet, so much more development and integration can be done. Since this is going to be a MediaWiki extension, we should stay tuned to liquidThreads. • CQ 18:55, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

links in template

I tried a test at User talk:Mu301/LiquidThreads. I don't understand why the template has links like these: Forum, Source: and Current:. For example, what does Wikiversity:Schools have to do with Source:? --mikeu ^talk 19:49, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh...The extra linkage was put in assuming that Wikiversity was a top-down organization with a Colloquium of Schools talking about Topics using Naming conventions while creating learning resources. I had it all out of wack, mostly because I was working alone pretty much. CQ 23:57, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't really understand what the source and destination actually means. Taking Wikiversity talk:Welcome log/2009/09 as an example, why is the source Wikiversity:Welcome log/2009 and the destination Wikiversity:Welcome log? Thanks. Adambro 21:31, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
