Hi everyone, I made this page to clarify and deepen the knowledge on this wiki for stormwater harvesting and management. The previous material added to the water technologies portal are interesting, but at the same time leave plenty of room open for systematic ambiguity in terms of what makes what system what. I expect to append some of the surface water and ground water recovery techniques to this page, but some of them will remain. I think that the other categories will be useful as "catch-all" categories for techniques and systems that do not fall within the scope of either rainwater harvesting or stormwater harvesting and management.--Ivangiesen (discusscontribs) 21:14, 18 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Technical Approaches Category is Up for Improvement[edit source]

As you may notice, the technical approaches category of this page also contains a table of other stormwater management/harvesting pages, some of which with their own lists of stormwater management techniques. This is confusing and I think there is a better way to do it, but I'm not sure how yet. If you see this, and it hasn't been fixed yet, go for it!--Ivangiesen (discusscontribs) 03:16, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thinking about it, maybe having a sort of spectrum, where the different techniques are listed from those that can nearly purely considered 'harvesting', ie being directed to a tank or storage area for later use in irrigation, cooling, toilets, etc., and that which is more traditionally known as management, ie detention ponds, raingardens, stormwater drains and the sort. I'm going to work on moving all the techniques from their individual categories to the open on the main page and see if it's too overwhelming. I'll save the original format in my user's sandbox.--Ivangiesen (discusscontribs) 03:30, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Useful material[edit source]

It's a piece of useful materials' collection for Disaster-frequency countries and their efforts of prevention. Jason M. C., Han (discusscontribs) 13:37, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Adding Military-Weather-Support Part[edit source]

It's also good to add a section that the Military-Weather-Support power, designs labours and human-resource are actually added in for coping with some methods to prevent disaster and its production-stormwater, which helps common people many...
