I think it's a bad idea to encourage Real world schools to put their institutions within the "School:" namespace - instead I think that they should be simply organised in this category (or subcategories). Otherwise we are going to have these pseudo-namespaces like "University:", "College:" "Community College:", "Kindergarten:", and all the other educational institution names I can't think of right now. I also think we need a policy on such pages to keep them to a practical aim, ie organising their activities in Wikiversity (effectively creating their own "portals"), instead of allowing a school to use Wikiversity as free advertising. How about having this policy at: Wikiversity:Real world schools? Finally, I think this page (ie School) should be a kind of disambiguation page on meanings of schools in Wikiversity as well as outside of it. Thoughts? Cormaggio talk 20:01, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

We have Category:Real world school and a few pages in that category such as Phoenix Union Cyber High School. The "School:" namespace should be for content development projects, not descriptions of real world schools. --JWSchmidt 22:15, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks - I've made some changes that reflect this view. Cormaggio talk 11:22, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
