What is MUS?

Hi everyone, making a lot of wiki project-wide changes here and maybe someone will see them eventually. Does anyone know what exactly is MUS? It's mentioned here but without any preceding clarification or explanation. I am beginning to see an opportunity for this wiki to focus on local and community based rainwater harvesting projects, but I am not yet sure how they can be best organized.
