Wubi is a handy installer of ubuntu-linux for Windows machines. It creates a dual-boot which sits mostly inside a directory of the windows file system and can be deleted like any other Windows application. It is a good way to get into linux (which is becoming more and more indispensible to the modern computer day by day).

Installing Ubuntu With Wubi[edit]

The wubi installer is very simple. First, when you've downloaded wubi, you open the program. Then, you tell is which derivative of ubuntu you would like to install. After that, you tell it how big you want the virtual hard-drive and tell it your username and password for the new OS. Then, click finish and it starts downloading and installing the OS.
