The columns are currently as follows:

  • User : To prevent large usernames from taking up too much space, there is an option for a nickname. I decided to use the three stooges as inspiration for the nicknames of my socks.
  • cont.: T for the user's Wikiversity talk page, v: for Wikiversity, w: for Wikipedia, c: for Commons, and b: for Wikibooks.
  • I: .S informs us that this is two links. log links to the instructor's course journal, while the .S gives students the opportunity to create subpages to that journal. These subpages are within the course page, which facilitates removal of the page by instructors.
  • II: Suggested reading. The links can go to Wikiversity, Wikipedia, or any of it's sisters.[1] Note that the entries in each column can be individualized.[2]
  • III: How to design a course is a subpage where students will write a draft. The .S suffix permits students to create subpages to serve as a "sandbox" for this draft.
  • IV: (main space)) links to a tentative place in namespace where this article might be placed. (It will probably be later moved to a more appropriate location). Note the absence of the .S suffix because it will go into a mainspace Wikiversity resource.

Footnotes and references[edit | edit source]

  1. External links are also possible; they will appear with an extra set of brackets [...]
  2. Altough all columns can contain different entries for different students, the choice of whether to include the .S subpage option must be the same for all the students for a given column.
