Lab Log[edit | edit source]

  • 1/19/16 Tues

Attempted to understand the lab for today describing how to use hand gestures to measure angles.

  • 1/21/16 Thur

Started to review/go over quizzes for first test.

  • 1/26/16 Tues

Continued and finished review of quizzes for Test 1.

  • 1/28/16 Thur

Did the hand degree lab focusing on the pinkie being 1 degree.

  • 2/4/16 Thur

Continued analyze the error of the angular measurement method of using fingers; myself (with help from a classmate) and three other selected people used digital tool to get more precised measurements for class to average and then disprove the original diagram.

  • 2/16/16 Tues

Briefly went over Hooke's Theory; attempted to understand the errors documented by another class and tried to illustrated a correct way of fixing said errors.

  • 2/23/16 Tues

Class was divided in half with one half saying the diagram reference of a lab is wrong, while my half was to write why it was wrong along with how (I said we used standard deviation to find the error since it didn't measure 5 degree but 3.67 plus or minus .21, after using a digital measuring device).

Day(s) attended Lab & Observed[edit | edit source]

2/2/16 - attended lab but watched as selected people helped instructor figure out how far off the picture reference is from actuality; took notes on this as class observation.
