Abstract
Abstract
This session aims to guide participants through creating Massive Open Online Courses on Portuguese Wikiversity, showcasing three successful Brazilian health science implementations on Wikiversidade: Introduction to Basic Audiology, Planetary Health and Human Communication, and Georeferencing Open Health Data on Wikidata. It will demonstrate the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) development process on Wikiversity, from initial planning to technical implementation. We'll give an overview of the Wikiversity MOOC framework based on JavaScript, Lua and CSS interfaces, followed by demonstrations of our three health science MOOCs. The examples are Introduction to Basic Audiology (https://w.wiki/6Jat), Planetary Health and Human Communication (https://w.wiki/8Nb9), and Georeferencing Open Health Data on Wikidata (https://w.wiki/CNdG). Participants will learn the basic MOOC structure and modeling of Wikiversity pages using a simplified template for prototyping technical aspects based on Wikiversidade. The template presented in Wikiversity in Portuguese can be extrapolated to other Wikiversity languages.
