Uncivil comment on your user page.[edit source]

Uncivil comment on your user page. This could get you a block on any WMF wiki, including this one, if you insist. You made comments on meta, yesterday, with what looks like an attack on academic freedom at Wikiversity, based on a fantasy about checkusers. You have a poor idea of what is allowed and what is not. I will redact the comment, and will not take this further unless you revert it back or do something else similarly offensive. Thanks. --Abd 20:19, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Banned users as administrators[edit source]

Sometimes in a request for permanent custodianship, user status elsewhere comes up; however Wikiversity has "probationary custodianship." I'm not sure how many users who became custodians here were banned at some time elsewhere, but your comment on your user page implies that it's a common practice here. I'm not aware of any person who was known to be site-banned at another WMF wiki at the time of becoming a custodian here. Or even a sock later found to be banned. Maybe there is an example, but I suggest you examine where you are getting these strange ideas from. --Abd 20:41, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
