Wikiversity Journal[edit source]

I'm delighted to hear that you find interest in this project Face-smile.svg
Your idea is pretty much what Wikiversity Journal is about. Authors email article submissions to me (or they write them directly online). Our "elected editors" that decide whether or not to publish articles is the editorial board (Wikiversity Journal of Medicine/Editorial board) as I see you've noticed. Membership in the editorial board doesn't exclude contributing with articles as well. The main types of works that we are looking for are those that include images that can be added in Wikipedia articles, as well as reviews whose text can be added in Wikipedia articles. Let me know if you have any such project that you want published. I just got back from a weekend trip, and I will now start an email conversation among the current editorial board members to support your participation. In the meantime, here's a virtual tour of project-related pages:

Hi Mikael, thanks for the welcome and overview. I will have a look at it all and I will see you on the talk pages. All the best, Taketa (discusscontribs) 07:02, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, and thank you for the ideas for how to improve the journal. I will take a closer look there soon. Did you get my email by the way? I sent by your "Email user" page. The email basically contained what can now be seen at Wikiversity Journal of Medicine/Contribute and an expanded Wikiversity Journal of Medicine/Editorial board, after some recent correspondence in the editorial board. If you're still interested, email me at with your real name and an acceptance of the confidentiality policies, such as by "I will act in accordance with the confidentiality policies of Wikiversity Journal of Medicine".
