Reflective Summaries[edit source]

Hi! I noticed your recent work on several reflective summary pages. Are these associated with any learning project in particular, or should we create a separate project on Reflective Summaries? -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 14:15, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I figured out where they belong. In the future, if you create a page you want to rename, you should be able to move the page yourself. Move is an option on the More tab. Otherwise, if you have pages you no longer need, please add a {{Delete}} tag at the top so they can be removed. Thanks! -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 14:18, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dave Yes, these belong to Human Vision and Function. When I was developing them yesterday I fogot to put the / next to the [[ to link them back to my subject development page - sorry. I'm kind of new to Wikiversity and just getting my head around it all. I think in the end I did link them back by inserting the / properly. I didn't realise though that those initial ones are still there...yes, the unlinked pages need removing. Thanks for the tip. Can you delete them for me? I'm scared to muck something up now. Sorry for the hassle. --Merivuki (discusscontribs) 22:59, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

YesY Done - Don't worry. You can't muck anything up that we can't fix by Undo, Move, or Delete. Be bold! -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 23:56, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I'm really loving Wikiversity as a development space...I'm telling everyone who'll listen that this is the way to go!

Page Titles[edit source]

We want to avoid including bold accents (''') in page titles. See changes I made on Low Vision Rehabilitation for two different approaches, depending on whether the entire title is bold, or only part of it. Let me know if you have any questions. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 13:33, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dave, thanks for the tip and the change!
I have a question, if I'm creating a layer within my subject with a link to the next page, for example, on the Low Vision Rehab main page I have a link to the first case study, if I change the title of the case study slightly, it changes the page and I lose the info contained within it. How do I link it back without having to paste it into the new one? Does that make sense? And then, if I change the title slightly, can I remove the previously created page which is essentially the same otherwise I could have 4 or 5 versions of the same page under a different heading. Just trying to clean it all up. Your help would be appreciated!! Thank you.

When you change a page title, do so using the Move link under the More tab at the top of the page. That renames the page and leaves a redirect at the old name. It's not a bad idea to go back and fix any links to the page anyway, but with the redirect it isn't required. If you have pages that should be deleted, just put a {{Delete}} at the top and they'll get cleaned up. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 01:05, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
