This is a test of a method for making test/quiz questions. This method makes use of code from w:User:Mzajac/Soviet-legacy AFV Navbox. --JWSchmidt 16:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

As inserted on this page, Rayc's boxes provide a redundant and (unfortunately) less good way of doing quizzes than Lrbabe's quiz extension. What would interest me is whether we can resurrect the boxes as a simple widget for hide/reveal operations (which is something the quiz extension doesn't do). The table would need its expand/hide hyperlink within the table itself, not at the top of the page. McCormack 18:04, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

"not at the top of the page" <-- I'm not sure what you are seeing. If it is like Figure 1, try clearing your browser's cache. We Were having trouble with the position of the collapse/expand "button", but it should now correctly put those links on the boxes. It should look like what is shown below. --JWSchmidt 18:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

I did ?action=purge and it corrected the issue - thanks :) I now see what you see, give or take a few pixels. Yes - this is what I think I remember Rayc's boxes to have been about. As regards the educational side, I don't think we should try and sell these as "quizzes", simply as slightly interactive things for making a learning experience a bit more interesting. A new name might be good. McCormack 21:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
