Hello is me bye bye FrankyLeRoutier 19:31, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Your blanking of another user's user space content[edit]

[1]. You are very likely not User:White Fennec. So why did you appear on Wikiversity today, after almost two years of not editing here, to blank these user pages, calling it "maintenance," when it looks more like vandalism? Thanks. --Abd (discusscontribs) 04:17, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Bonjour ce compte est bloqué globalement Special:CentralAuth/White Fennec, l'usage est donc de supprimer les sous-pages du compte qui a été bloqué. Cordialement. FrankyLeRoutier (discusscontribs) 06:07, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
[google translation:] Hello this account is globally blocked Special:CentralAuth/White Fennec, the use is to delete sub-pages of the account that was blocked. Regards.

Global accounts are not blocks, they are locks that prevent log-in. The user allegedly behind White Fennec is not globally locked or banned. White Fennec was first globally locked, then, within a couple of minutes, blocked on en.wiki with no edits there, and his only edits were here on Wikiversity. Had we been aware of the lock, we would have appealed it in 2011. That global lock blatantly violates global lock guidelines. However, it's beside the point, and not worth appealing at this time.

We do not delete content here because it was created by even a banned user. We will consider the content, whether or not it has possible educational use. In this case, those pages are proving very useful as part of a study of affair Boubaker.

You did not answer the question of why you acted now, four years later. What led you here?

Nor why you used a mild title, "maintenance," which might conceal what you were really doing. Further, you did the same thing on fr.wikiversity, with user pages of two users who are not blocked or banned. And you are revert warring there over this. Something about this is very important to you. What is it?

We pay special attention to edits of user pages not by the user. In this case, I moved the pages into mainspace as subpages of Boubaker Polynomials/Wikipedia/White Fennec and will be using them extensively. I believe that White Fennec would approve. I have "courtesy blanked" one of the pages, because of the "hot" content. Yet it's an important page. Courtesy blanking does not leave a blank page, which might then ultimately be deleted just on that basis. It is vandalism, unless by the author.

This affair has led to massive disruption, actions and reactions. It is time that this stop. Please follow policies and guidelines. If you believe a page should be deleted, there are speedy deletion templates, and if that is contested (these would be), there is WV:RFD. There is already an active deletion request on the Boubaker Polynomials resource. It is going nowhere, for obvious reasons. --Abd (discusscontribs) 20:26, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
